My name is Quang The Nguyen. I was born in Vietnam in 1958. I escaped Communist Vietnam and came to Pulau Bidong Refugee Camp in Malaysia in April 1988. I was accepted to resettle in the United States of America as a political refugee. I came to America on September 1st, 1989. I worked as a shipping and receiving clerk in a toy warehouse in Jersey City, New Jersey for two months. Then, I moved to San Jose and worked as waiter/dishwasher for four months before getting a stable job as a high school paraprofessional. I worked as a classroom bilingual paraprofessional for 7 years. In these seven years I went to school during nighttime. I got my B.A. Degree in Social Sciences and the Single Subject Teaching Credential in Social Sciences from San Jose State University, California. I have been teaching at Silver Creek High School, East Side Union High School District since Fall 1997. I created the Dân Chủ Việt Movement on June 3, 2013, the Dân Chủ Việt Party on December 28, 2014, and the Republic of Vietnam Government in Exile on January 28, 2016. What is the Republic of Vietnam Government in Exile?

Ladies and gentlemen,

The Republic of Vietnam Government in Exile is a government in exile, a political organization set up on January 28, 2016, and registered with the State of California, USA on Oct 3, 2017, as a nonprofit public benefit corporation.

It has no employees.

It’s not tax-exempt.

Its Federal ID is EIN 82-3050490.

Its State ID is C4071043.

The purpose of the Organization is to restore the Republic of Vietnam.

The activities of the Organization include collecting contributions/donations and helping set up government organizations for the restoration of the Republic of Vietnam.

To join the Republic of Vietnam Government in Exile, you should be an open activist on anti-Communism/anti-China’s expansionism. Applicants should fill out an application form, pay $100 as joining fee, and $5 monthly fee via PayPal or by checks. Presently, this financial requirement does not apply to inland members for security reasons.

Members of the Republic of Vietnam Government in Exile should work and pay membership fees for active status.

Members who do not work or pay membership fees for 3 continuous months are considered as leaving the Republic of Vietnam Government in Exile.

The Republic of Vietnam Government in Exile shall not pay you back in any situations.
