My name is Quang The Nguyen. I was born in Vietnam in 1958. I escaped Communist Vietnam and came to Pulau Bidong Refugee Camp in Malaysia in April 1988. I was accepted to resettle in the United States of America as a political refugee. I came to America on September 1st, 1989. I worked as a shipping and receiving clerk in a toy warehouse in Jersey City, New Jersey for two months. Then, I moved to San Jose and worked as waiter/dishwasher for four months before getting a stable job as a high school paraprofessional. I worked as a classroom bilingual paraprofessional for 7 years. In these seven years I went to school during nighttime. I got my B.A. Degree in Social Sciences and the Single Subject Teaching Credential in Social Sciences from San Jose State University, California. I have been teaching at Silver Creek High School, East Side Union High School District since Fall 1997. I created the Dân Chủ Việt Movement on June 3, 2013, the Dân Chủ Việt Party on December 28, 2014, and the Republic of Vietnam Government in Exile on January 28, 2016. Letter from the Republic of Vietnam Government in Exile Congratulating the 47th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump, on His Second Term Inauguration on January 20, 2025

Dear President Donald J. Trump,

I have voted for you in all three recent elections because I believe you have a patriotic heart and reasonable domestic and foreign policies.

I see that China has ambitions to take over the South China Sea and annex Vietnam to subsequently dominate the world.

China’s expansionist ambitions must be stopped for the benefit of the United States, as well as for world security and the happiness of humanity.

People around the world have realized how terrible the dictatorial regime of the Communist Party is and all wish for freedom and democracy.

Dear President,

I think the U.S. government should help revive the Republic of Vietnam because the Republic of Vietnam can sign strategic cooperation as an ally and join a military alliance with the U.S. to break China’s expansionism.

I believe that Communist Vietnam shares the dictatorial party ideology with China and will side with China when it can no longer balance between the two.

The United States should not let Communist Vietnam continue to take advantage.

Dear President,

I am an anti-Communist Vietnamese American.

I founded the Vietnam Democracy Movement on June 3, 2014, the Vietnam Democratic Party on December 28, 2014, and the Government of the Republic of Vietnam in Exile on January 28, 2016.

I wrote many letters to you during your first term to call on the United States to support the Government of the Republic of Vietnam in Exile and help revive the Republic of Vietnam.

The democratic ideology of the Republic of Vietnam, which the United States and the Free World share, is the foundation to separate Vietnam from China and to break China’s ambition to dominate the world.

The Vietnamese people love freedom and democracy.

The Vietnamese people have been deceived and misled by the Communists. They have long been enlightened. They understand that the Vietnamese Communists sell out the country and harm the people, but they fear imprisonment and do not dare to resist. They only hope that overseas refugees will establish a government in exile to call on the Free World to help rescue the Vietnamese people from China and Communism.

Please help the Vietnamese people who love freedom and democracy.

Please help the Government of the Republic of Vietnam in Exile revive the Republic of Vietnam.

Dear President,

On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Vietnam in Exile, I wish you good health and pray that God grants you the necessary blessings for your second term as President.

Long live President Donald J. Trump!
