about
My name is Quang The Nguyen. I was born in Vietnam in 1958. I escaped Communist Vietnam and came to Pulau Bidong Refugee Camp in Malaysia in April 1988. I was accepted to resettle in the United States of America as a political refugee. I came to America on September 1st, 1989. I worked as a shipping and receiving clerk in a toy warehouse in Jersey City, New Jersey for two months. Then, I moved to San Jose and worked as waiter/dishwasher for four months before getting a stable job as a high school paraprofessional. I worked as a classroom bilingual paraprofessional for 7 years. In these seven years I went to school during nighttime. I got my B.A. Degree in Social Sciences and the Single Subject Teaching Credential in Social Sciences from San Jose State University, California. I have been teaching at Silver Creek High School, East Side Union High School District since Fall 1997. I created the Dân Chủ Việt Movement on June 3, 2013, the Dân Chủ Việt Party on December 28, 2014, and the Republic of Vietnam Government in Exile on January 28, 2016. Regards, Quang The Nguyen (Nguyễn Thế Quang) August 31st, 2025
